17 May April 20 Meeting | Open Sew!

Our April meeting was a casual open sewing day in Green Hills. We started the meeting with a show and tell as always – and you can see out members wonderful finishes and WIPs above! It was a weekend of firsts – as we had a few new faces (first meetings!) and several members brought their “first” quilts to show and tell. We also had a few early finishes in our UFO Challenge!

We also started our Mystery Fabric Challenge. Members brought a half-yard equivalent of fabric in an unlabeled bag and took turns choosing a package a random. Each swapper will have to make an item of with the fabric in the bag (plus one print and/or one solid of their chosing) to be returned to the original fabric owner… should be interesting!
